Ibrahim Traoré Bans LGBTQ Nationwide

Burkina Faso’s leader, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, has officially banned LGBTQ activities nationwide, citing the preservation of cultural values, traditions, and morality.

This decision has sparked widespread debate, with some praising it as a defense of African identity while others criticize it as a violation of human rights.

The move adds to the growing list of African nations taking a firm stance against LGBTQ rights under nationalist and sovereignty-driven leadership.

  1. They should leave these people alone. Every human being has the right to choose whoever he or she prefers to sleep with. We should allow God to be his own judge. Who are we to point our fingers. At least, they are not chasing after your children. You should go should go after the rapists, child molesters, cheaters and etc. Leave these people alone.
