I think the reason why so many are on snap is because the minimum wage is so low. Companies aren't paying enough. Some people I know work 50hrs a week and still qualify for snap. The reason being they don't bring home enough $!

This is going to be cold but what have natives done for us to make us want to give up Thanksgiving the way we celebrate it? When have they stood up against the whtsupremacist in our favor? If anything, they joined him and enslaved us too. They forced their DNA into our bloodstream the same way the Europeans did. I'm celebrating Thanksgiving with my family without thought to them. COLLECTIVELY, They are equally as anti blk against us as the wht supremacist and THEY KNOW OUR STORY. That makes them worse. I don't know what to tell them. 🤷🏿♀️. I used to love them as I have irrefutable proof I carry their blood, but I'm done trying to break bread with hateful people. I don't care what color they are. To get my hand in friendship, you must give me yours. I'm perfectly fine staying around my own.
As far as this thing with raising that minimum wage hurting mom and pop businesses. Cry me a river, people have to eat! If you have a business and can't afford to pay a LIVABLE WAGE, then you should not be hiring anyone to work for you. I would never hire help them demand they get the rest of their salary from the government benefits and tips, another point of contention for me. I pay them because the employee suffers if I don't buy I abhor bring part of your payroll. My only action in your business is buying my product or service. In fact, I make a point to avoid places that have tips. If your prices include a gratuity, I don't care. That's still a bottom line price between you and I, but when you quote me a price, that's the price. PAY YOUR PEOPLE! If I owned a business, NO ONE ELSE would have to pay my people because I would or I wouldn't hire anyone. That is ridiculous. Minimum wage should be about $25-30/hour and we can afford it. Do that and wages go up from there, NO BENEFITS WOULD BE NECESSARY.
42 MILLION on SNAP is absolutely ridiculous. There is no way more than 50% are self employed business owners paying themselves minimum wages. This government is a total failure for coming over here and recreating exactly what they fled.
