As a South African, I'd be glad if we get out of AGOA. As they say, it is for nations that advance US interests. If you're a sovereign country and not a puppet its not for you. So, maybe its time South Africa changed its economic dependencies and look elsewhere. Strangely though, the owners of businesses benefitting from AGOA are white farmers. The very same ones Trump claims are suffering a genocide. I think its time we are set free from being US stooges. We will have some pain, but that's good because it will help us stand on our own two feet as a country.
