Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution allowed for Omar to become a naturalized U.S. citizen. The 14th Amendment constitutionally recognizes and protects U.S. citizenship once it is acquired, whether by birth or naturalization. Once you have it, it's yours.
* Citizenship can be revoked (rare), but political disagreement, religion, race, or country of origin are not valid grounds to do so.

If you want children of foreign nationals to no longer benefit from the 14th amendment of the US constitution then you must seek a way to amend the 1898 citizenship clause of the 14th amendment because that is what gives them legitimacy under the 14th amendment.
