Traoré’s Sharia Ban Triggers NIGERIA’S MOST DANGEROUS Cleric

Nigeria’s most controversial Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, has attacked Burkina Faso’s president, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, over his declaration that Burkina Faso will never become a Sharia state. In a Facebook post on July 25, 2026, Gumi called the 38-year-old leader “too naive” to understand religion, society and geopolitics, and warned that his anti-Sharia stance would hand extremist groups a recruitment tool.

Thank you for your honest analysis. My opinion is that Abubakar Gumi is being watched. A time will come when he will reap the fruit of his radical religious statements against peaceful secular religious policy of the Nigerian state. There is time for everything by the sovereign lord who runs the universe. Sheik Gumi's acts or his secret clandestine supporters acts are inconsequential before the lord of creation who governs the universe.

Why should Burkina Faso be entertaining Sharia law this person Gumi must mind his business he is probably being paid by interested parties. He needs to open his eyes and see that Ibrahim Traore is building his country and people like Gumi is attempting to tear down any and every African country which Captain Traore is trying to unite. Mahmad was and still is the title of Jesus. It means: The Annointed One. Even Muhamad means The Beloved and referred always to Jesus. You don't speak Arabic. So you are easy to fool.
