How anti-migrant anger became political power in South Africa | Al Jazeera Explains

South Africa is facing a new wave of xenophobic violence, but this time the anger is becoming organised. As unemployment, inequality and failing services deepen frustration, migrants are increasingly blamed for problems they did not create. Al Jazeera explains how anti-migrant movements moved from the streets into politics, why the message resonates, and how economic insecurity is turning some of the country’s most vulnerable people into political targets.

  1. If you corrupt the system to enter & stay in the country then eliminate the local population in the job markets, you will have TACTICALLY EXCLUDED the locals. If the locals use their stamina to shove into the frontline of employment DO YOU CALL IT A POLITICAL EXCLUSION aljazeera ??

  2. If you corrupt the system to enter and stay in the country you will have TACTICALLY ELIMINATED the local population in the job markets using official or unofficial documents.

If the local population use their indigenous stamina to shove into the frontline of employment opportunities IS THAT WHAT YOU CALL POLITICAL EXCLUSION al jazeera ,we have a crisis in Africa why can't we use FAIR ,CORRECT & FACTUAL NARRATIVES FOR POPULARITY ?? 🤔🤔😏🙄

  3. WHAT BIAS GARBAGE IS THIS…?? So Al Jazeera just allows anybody to make video reports without VETTING them…? I hope somebody complains to the relevant people about this report because it is factually incorrect… Why are these SHAMEFUL reporter allowed to spread such misinformation…? She starts the video with the protester marching on ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION… but somehow the message changed somewhere in the middle to "blame the foreigners"… for everything…?? Illegal immigration is a problem, not only in South Africa…, but in Europe, in Asia, in the USA and even in Australia…? This DISGUSTING reporter is not calling those people xenophobic…, why not when those people are protesting JUST LIKE South Africans are doing now… the problem I think is these people reporting these LIES AND MISINFORMATION do not see, or do not have the capacity to see…, the destruction illegal immigration has on a country…

  4. The Problem is that Black African South Africans have not been taught accountability since 1994… They take no responsibility for raping 1.5 million african women since 1994 , they take no accountability for murdering 600 000 of their own black african south africans since 1994
