Namibia has announced a major visa policy change, ending its long-standing visa-free entry for U.S. travellers. Starting April 1, American visitors must apply for a visa online in advance, though visas on arrival will still be available at key entry points. The move, which was approved last May, is backed by Namibia’s first female president, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah. It responds to the U.S. and other Western nations denying visa-free entry to Namibians. It also highlights growing African frustration over strict U.S. visa policies. While some applaud this stand for reciprocity, others worry it may impact tourism. Despite concerns, officials remain confident in Namibia’s appeal, framing the decision as a bold statement on fairness, diplomacy, and Africa’s role in global travel. Watch to know more.

  1. In Uganda 🇺🇬; All tourists including Americans do have to Apply for A Ugandan Visa online prior to entry . It’s 50 bucks but that’s a lot in Ugandans shillings . I think they need to INCREASE to 150💰🤑; & each country should it Steep💯. Trump’s treating Africa like A piece of 💩💩💩

  2. People saying that she will loss 20 thousands people for tourism is very stupid, i will say this, when you have something beautiful you don't need to push me to like it but they should come willingly. America think they are paradise but Africa will built thier own. In Cameroon we need to banned france from coming free as they like.

  3. This is misinformation, this was a negotiated agreement between Namibia and all non reciprocal countries, way before the new President. It’s none of the visa war you are alluding to. Fake, fake news on your part.

  4. Who in the hell in the right mind would want to go to Nivea. You couldn’t melt me and pour me in that place not unless I was going to one of the white compounds there to protect white people from the black population and then I still wouldn’t wanna go there. Hell there’s over 70,000 whites trying to leave there and come to the United States.❤
